At RankPilot, we are committed to respecting your privacy and user rights, including your right to be forgotten and your control over connected third-party integrations. This page provides clear, detailed instructions on how to revoke API permissions and request the complete deletion of your data from our systems.

1. How to Revoke Google API Access

If you wish to terminate RankPilot's connection to your Google Account (including access to your Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, or Google Search Console data), you can do so at any time directly through Google's security settings. This ensures that RankPilot can no longer access your Google data, even if you keep your RankPilot account active.

Please follow these step-by-step instructions to revoke access:

  1. Go to the official Google Account Security Console by navigating to: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  2. Log in with the Google Account that you originally connected to RankPilot.
  3. Scroll through the list of third-party apps and locate RankPilot.
  4. Click on RankPilot to expand its authorization details.
  5. Click the "Remove Access" button (or "Revoke Access").
  6. Confirm the action when prompted by Google.

Once completed, Google immediately invalidates the OAuth refresh tokens stored in our encrypted database, completely cutting off our application's access to your Google services.

2. Complete Account & Workspace Data Purge

If you decide to close your RankPilot workspace entirely and want us to permanently expunge all records, you can submit a request for full database deletion. We will completely purge the following records from our active servers and backups:

  • Personal credentials: Your name, password hashes, email address, and profile settings.
  • Connected Credentials: Encrypted Google OAuth access and refresh tokens.
  • Google Business Profile Data: Saved business listings, location metadata, fetched reviews, and scheduled updates.
  • SEO Analytics History: Geogrid ranking logs, Search Console query metrics, and GA4 pageview metrics.
  • Agency Assets: Custom white-label logos, themes, and all generated PDF ranking reports.

To request a complete data purge, please proceed as follows:

  1. Send an email from the registered administrator email address of your workspace to: contact@ingrows.in.
  2. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request - [Your Workspace ID or Account Email].
  3. Specify in the email body that you request the permanent deletion of your RankPilot workspace and all associated data.

Our support and compliance team at Ingrows will process your request within 48 hours. You will receive a formal confirmation email once all database records, cached metrics, and reporting files have been permanently expunged.

3. Data Retention and Compliance Details

Please note the following critical details regarding our data deletion policies:

  • Stripe Subscriptions: Requesting complete account deletion will automatically cancel any active recurring subscriptions processed via Stripe.
  • Permanence: Once data is purged from our production databases, it is completely unrecoverable. We recommend downloading any required PDF reports or CSV audit files before submitting your request.
  • Legal & Backup Retention: Financial transaction histories (invoices, tax logs, Stripe charge IDs) are retained as required under Indian taxation and corporate laws. Fully encrypted database backup archives are overwritten automatically on a rolling 30-day schedule.
